US Artist Visa PR Campaigns for Electronic Music Professionals
Build the press portfolio, industry evidence, and media credibility your US visa application requires — with a team that understands both the music industry and what immigration scrutiny demands.
If you're planning to tour the United States as an electronic music artist, a DJ, or a producer, you already know the visa process is one of the most complex and costly parts of getting there.
What you may not know is that the strength of your press portfolio — the quality and credibility of your media coverage — can be one of the most critical factors in whether your application succeeds.
Elevate works with electronic music artists at every stage of their career — from emerging acts building their profile for a first application, to established artists managing renewals and keeping their evidence current. We work directly with artists, managers, and agents to build the kind of documented, verifiable press record that visa applications require — and that immigration counsel can work with confidently.
This isn't standard music PR dressed up with a different label. It's a structured, outcome-focused campaign built specifically around the evidence standards that O-1B and P-1 visa applications demand.
WHY THIS MATTERS RIGHT NOW:
USCIS is currently posting over a 12-month wait time for regular visa processing — a timeline that has essentially doubled over the past year.
For artists needing US access before mid-2027, premium processing is effectively the only viable route. Here's what that actually means:
With regular processing, USCIS will review your petition 12 months from receipt. At that point they will either issue an approval or a Request for Evidence (RFE). If an RFE is issued, there is no certainty on final turnaround — response times can range from a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
Premium processing cuts that 12-month wait to a guaranteed 15 business days from receipt of your petition. Within that window USCIS will either approve or issue an RFE — and crucially, RFEs under premium processing are also expedited, with a final decision guaranteed within a further 15 business days of your response.
One important note: as of early 2026, USCIS has become significantly more aggressive in issuing RFEs. An RFE can add 1–1.5 months to total processing time. The most effective way to avoid one is a watertight evidence package from the outset — which is exactly what we build.
USCIS premium processing carries an additional government filing fee, which your immigration counsel will advise on directly.
The window to act is now. Artists and their teams who start building their press evidence today are the ones who will be ready when the application needs to be filed. If you are an agent or manager planning US touring for your roster in the next 12–18 months, this is the conversation to have now — not six months before the tour.
OUR US VISA PR TIERS:
All three tiers are designed to be used alongside qualified US immigration counsel. We build the press evidence — your legal team handles the filing or we can refer you to a US petitioner with 10+ years experience processing successful applications.

For artists with legal support already in place who need qualifying press placements to strengthen their existing evidence portfolio.
What's included:

Note: Premium outlets including DJ Mag, Mixmag, and EDM Identity require a separate media budget — not included at this tier.

What's included:
Everything in Tier 1

Coordination with your immigration counsel
With USCIS now posting over 12 months on regular processing — and RFEs on the rise in 2026 — a complete, watertight evidence package is more important than ever. Premium processing guarantees a 15-business-day review from receipt of your petition, but only a strong underlying application avoids the delays an RFE can add. This is the tier built for artists who can't afford to leave anything to chance.
WHO WE WORK WITH:
Our US visa PR campaigns are used by electronic music artists, DJs, and producers across hard dance, house, techno, minimal, and related genres — as well as the agents and managers who represent them.
Artists and their teams typically work with a qualified US immigration attorney throughout the visa process. Tier 3 clients benefit from direct coordination with our specialist immigration counsel partner — we liaise on your behalf so the legal and PR sides are fully aligned.
Our role is press and evidence — not legal advice. Your immigration counsel handles the filing, the fees, and the legal process. We make sure the PR side is ready when they need it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our US visa evidence PR campaigns are structured to meet immigration standards by generating verifiable press coverage, reputable media placements, and a clear narrative of international recognition. We work closely with artists and their legal teams to ensure the PR output is credible, documented, and suitable for O-1B and P-1 visa applications.
-
Standard music PR is built around audience reach and release momentum. Visa evidence PR is built around documentation, credibility, and meeting specific immigration criteria. The publications, the framing, the portfolio structure, and the evidence checklist are all calibrated around what a visa application needs — not just what looks good on social media.
-
Yes. We work alongside qualified US immigration counsel throughout the visa process and can coordinate directly with your legal team. For Tier 3 clients we can connect you with a specialist immigration counsel partner if you don't already have one in place. All legal fees and filing requirements are handled independently by your chosen counsel.
US touring is one of the most significant career milestones for an electronic music artist. The visa process shouldn't be the thing that stops it from happening.
-
As early as possible. Given current USCIS processing times of 11+ months for regular processing, we recommend starting the press evidence campaign at least 6-12 months before your intended US touring dates. Artists needing US access before mid-2027 should contact us immediately.

Fill in the enquiry form below with details about your artist, your touring plans, and your timeline. We'll come back to you within 48 hours with a recommendation on which tier is right for your situation.

No — and this is an important distinction. USCIS approval confirms that your petition has been accepted and that you qualify for the visa category. However, you still need to schedule an interview at your nearest US Embassy or Consulate. If the interview is successful, your visa will be issued at that point.
Elevate's work is complete at the USCIS approval stage — we deliver the press and evidence portfolio your immigration counsel needs to get there. Your lawyer will guide you through the Embassy interview process from that point.
We recommend planning at least three months in advance of your first US tour date, and more where possible, to allow time for both the USCIS phase and the Embassy interview scheduling.
